We attend many events that go on within the community to help promote the Cambridge Food Bank for those in need of our services and for those looking for opportunities to give back to a good cause.
In addition, we’re proud to highlight events that are organized specifically by the community to help promote food and fund drives to support the food bank.
The Cambridge Food Drive Initiative and Little Short Stops convenience stores are each hosting a food and fund drive this season.
The Cambridge Food Drive Initiative
The Cambridge Food Drive Initiative (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1793798744124002) has hosted one fundraising BBQ at the Hespeler Market and will host another one on August 18th and a few stuff a van events food drive events at local grocery stores with a more happening throughout August and September. (August 12, 13, 26, 27th from 10 – 4pm at Zehrs on Hespeler and on September 9th at Foodland Ayr from 10-3pm)
Little Short Stops
Little Short Stops is hosting a food drive from July 31st to August 27th at each of their Cambridge locations and in Ayr.
